If you came here looking for National Illumination & Sign Corporation, you’re in the right place.

After three years operating as a division of Brady Signs, National is now fully part of the Brady Signs brand. Same people. Same locations. Same phone numbers. One name.

Why We’re Bringing the Brands Together

We’ve been operating as one company for a while now. Our teams in Sandusky and Toledo share projects, resources, and expertise, and where someone sits has stopped determining what they work on. The two brand names were the last thing that hadn’t caught up.

They were also creating confusion. Customers would get an email from a National address on a Brady project and wonder who they were hearing from (or vice versa). Vendors would ship materials to the wrong location because the relationship between the two companies wasn’t obvious from the outside. None of that made anyone’s job easier.

Folding National into Brady Signs was always the plan. We simply waited until the transition would be a formality rather than a disruption.

Two Companies With a Lot in Common

National Illumination & Sign Corporation has served Northwest Ohio and Southeastern Michigan since 1985, and is a multigenerational family business, much like Brady Signs. Its reputation is built largely on petroleum branding and a long history of installation and service work for regional and national brands.

Brady Signs has been family-owned since 1969, and our reputation was built on custom design-build signage. Customers bring us a vision, and we design it, manage the project, and install it — all from a single point of contact, start to finish.

Bringing the two together means National’s customers gain access to a full design-build team with a larger footprint. It’s an expansion of what the National team can offer, not a change to who they are.

What Changes for National Customers

Very little, and nothing that requires action on your part.

You’ll work with the same people, at the same locations, at the same phone numbers. The commitments made to you stand. What changes is largely cosmetic: email addresses will move to Brady Signs (with National messages forwarding in the meantime), and invoices will arrive under the Brady Signs name.

The one small favor we’ll ask: when you get a note from a new Brady Signs address, take a moment to update your contacts.

What Changes for Brady Signs Customers

More capacity, and more reach. Our service and installation team has roughly doubled, which means more crews in the field and projects completed sooner. Our footprint now covers Northern Ohio, Southeast Michigan, and into Indiana — so if you have locations across that region, we can take care of them.

What You’ll See, and When

The changeover will happen in stages through the final quarter of 2026. Over the coming months, you’ll see the National name give way to Brady Signs across our vehicles, our facilities, our crews, and our paperwork.

The Last Sign Company You’ll Ever Need

Two family businesses, nearly a century of combined experience, one team, and one straightforward mission: making businesses impossible to ignore.

If you haven’t worked with Brady Signs before, this is a good moment to see what we do. Explore our sign solutions or get in touch with our team.
